We had I think been to Jon's Dad and got home a bit late .. so skipped bathtime and just got her ready for bed .. sat her in her chair and when came back she was like this !! She was a very tired baby girl!!!


She has now learnt to feed herself !!!! She was getting too fidgety me doing it and wanting to sit up and be nosey so now she sits in her chair and drinks it all by herself !!

Not been up to too much .. have been working on Chloe feeding herself her milk !! She has been doing this for about 4/5 days now and is doing well .. the only bottle I hold is her bedtime one as shes asleep on it!!! Foodwise as well she is doing brilliantly !! She loves anything but her favourites are butternut Squash and Carrot ... either together or seperate or mixed with other veg or meat !!!

As its the autumn now I ought to be doing some more didgiscrap pages .. will keep me occupied amongst other things these wet and cold days !!! So think I might do some scrapping tomorrow !!!!

Another update !!!

Well as stated in previous post we have now decided to crack on with solids .. she has been having them for about 3 weeks now !!! About 4 days after starting she started having real bad nappies up to 6 times a day ... wasn't sure if it was her reacting to food or teething or a mixture of the 2 ... as it turns out it must have been the teething as this week 2 tetth have popped through !!! And her nappies turned back to normal ... the bad nappies went on for just over 2 weeks !!!
She is loving her food ... because of the nappies and not sure the reasoning behind it we went back to basics foodwise !!
I cooked up single fruits and veg ... she loves carrot on its own !!!
Then the last 2/3 days have been mixing fruit and veg ... she loves butternut squash and pear and also carrot and apple !!!

Thursday just gone we went and had her weighed at baby clinic ... she was 18lb 4oz!!!!!

Also she has her 2 bottom teeth .. these both popped up in a matter of days !! A week at the most ... deffo the reason for awful nappies !!!

Her sitting is coming on well ... she will sit unaided for short periods of time til she is distracted then she will topple bless her !!!

Still not rolling over ... shes a bit lazy on that one !! She is attempting to but thats as far as it goes!!!

Anyway I think thats it for now !!!!

Oh Ryan went to school Friday just gone dressed as a croccodile !!! He loved it bless him ... it was all in aid of book week and had to go to school that day dressed as there favourite animal from a book .. his wasn't in any book but he was happy to go and say it was in a book lol .. not sure what he said but never mind !!!

HUGE Update !!!!!!

Well its better late than never but here FINNALLY are the pictures of Chloes bed !!!!

We went to baby clinic on 10/09/09 and she was 17lb and 7 oz .. so shes doing brilliantly bless her !!!

Below is just a random photo I took of her that I love !!!! Its so cute of her !!!

She decided that my choclate bar in the wrapper was a fab thing to hold and attempt to chomp on !!!

We had to start her on solids .. the plan was wait til she was 6 months but she had other ideas ... she decided she would have 2 days of going 3 hours between bottles instead of 4 ... which for her is very odd as she has always done 4 hours NO problems from birth .. so we decided to crack on with the food ... she had apple for 2 days then she had carrot, potato and cauliflower and today she had roast beef !!! she is doin so well ... hardly any sitting out and no screwy faces apart from the first or second spoonful. she is easily clearing 2 icecubes so tomorrow for lunch she has 3 cubes of cheesy pork and mash !!!!

Because ryan has been inschool all week we decided to make the most of the weekend with Grandad .... so Saturday afternoon we took Ryan to the local soft play area (Manic Monsters)
He loved it bless him ... running up and down ladders and ramps and god knows what else !! The big slide was a hit too !!!!!

Even Chloe got to play in the under 4's section !!!

then after that we went to win green for a quick walk,in the car to come home for a quick tea and then out the door again for Mere Carnival !!!!

Sunday we took Ryan to bournmouth airport for Ryan to watch the planes land and take off !!! He was quite excited about that bless him !!!!

On way back we called into Jons mum and his sister was there with her 2 kids so had a quick coffee.... Chloe was on a mission with baby Jasmin !!!!

Moved to big cot !!!

Today Jon went to Babies r us today to get a mattress for Chloes cot ... she now is in her big cot and has much more room bless her .... she looks tiny in it !!! I'm so pleased as she can now use her pretty pink bedding from Next that Grandad got her !!! Will update blog tomorrow with a picture of her cot and one with her in it !!

Today also I decided to up there other bottles to 7oz .. so she will now have 4 7 oz bottles a day as opposed to 3 6oz and then a 7oz bottle at bedtime ... will see how she goes as the last 2 nights she has woken between 5 and 6 AM although she goes back off to sleep in 10 minutes til 7.30 AM so not too bad .. but some days she is a bit moany during the day so wondering if its a case of wanting a little bit more milk.

Today also I have cooker 2 more meals for her, she has one meal of carrot, potato and cauliflower and another meal of green beans and cauliflower (this one seems to be a bit watery but we shall see what its like when she can have it) .... so on a roll .. thats now 3 meals in the freezer ready for her. Think will now leave it a few more weeks before doing anything else for her, or maybe cook a load of meals when I have introuduced her lunch time solids as I plan to when she is 6 months do a week of breakfast first, so will be pureed fruits for breakfast and then the second week introuduce lunch (the vegetable purees) and then the third week tea which will be veg purees with meat. Then after that she will have baby breakfast for brekkie and for lunch and tea a different meat with veg one followed by fromage frais the other followed by fruit ... can't wait to get her on food ..... she will love it !!

First meal in freezer for Moo !!!

Yesterday I cooked a roast beef dinner, with it I did roast potatos, carrots, green beans and yourkshire puds ....... YUMMY !!!!

I decided to do cook a potato (for mashing) and save some meat and veg and then blend down and freeze ready for Chloe in just over a months time !!

I blended down for her 3 slices of beep. a mashed potato, half a carrot and about 6 green beans and got about 2 icecube trays out of it !!!!! So she has one meal all ready for her in the freezer!!!!!

Today we went shopping to get ryans school uniform, we got him a pack of 3 white polo shirts, 2 packs of 3 vests, a pair of trousers, new shoes and a new lunch box .. the trousers need taking up a few inches but other than that he is good to go !!!
Nanny bought him a new coat the other day which he is chuffed about so he has a new coat for the winter!!!!

Tonight he is staying at Nanny's and then tomorrow they are off out on the bus which he is really looking forward to !!! So tomorrow is bit of a chill day with a few bits of housework and washing to do !!!!!

And yes it is 12.45 at night and I am STILL sat up !!! Luckily it seems to have no effect on me what time I go to bed!!! Good job she will wake at 7 for milk and go back to sleep til half 9 !!! No doubt I will change all that when school starts monday ... she will wake at 7 and be up !!!!

Sleeping longer ...

Well as Chloe was waking at 6 I decided to up her bedtime botte by an ounce ... so she now has a 7 oz bottle at bedtime and she has this about half 7 and is in bed just before 8PM. It seems to have done the trick having an extra ounce and bedtime an hour later as she now sleeps from 8PM- 7AM ... a MUCH better time to stat the day from.




She also can sit by herself for about 30 seconds before toppling to the side .. she leans forward as well so she ends up resting on her hands ... anyway heres a pictue of her sat at 4 and a half months old !!!
