School!!

Yesterday (3rd September) was Ryan's first day back at school (year 5) and Chloe's first day of going to school (Reception).
Can't believe Chloe has started school!!!! She had a fab first day bless her but was glad to see us when we picked her up!!
Ryan wasn't phased .. I think because he was used to the school and routine etc and had been there a few years. But he had a good first day back.
Chloe is only doing half days at the minute. She does mornings this week, afternoons next week, mornings again, then all of the reception do a week of mornings and staying for lunch if they want to and then the week after they all start attending school full time.
She looks so grown up in her uniform. Its still rather hot outside (unusual for the UK!!!) so most of the girls have been going in their summer dresses. Can't believe that just 6 weeks ago Chloe was still attending pre-school!!
She has been super excited about starting school especially since Ryan is there. She thinks she can hang around with him at playtimes but i'm sure he will be off with his mates rather than play with his 4 year old sister haha!!!
She seems to be settling in fine. I think of course there is some adjusting to new surroundings and new routine .. but she will get there.
