In The Smith Household: Balloon Fiesta !!!! (8th August)

Wow was this a looooooooooooooong day ..... it was a brilliant day out and Ryan enjoyed it very much !!! Chloe was fab and she ate and slept at her normal times. The weather was brilliant which made the day even more enjoyable.

We left home about 9AM and arrived aout 11ish .... was only £6 to park and that was for the WHOLE day !!!

We found our spot right by the arena which was fab !!! The men set everything up nd then wandered off to have a look around while us mummies and kids watchedthe polo game in the arena .... Ryan thought this was cool !!!

Fed Chloe and had lunch and then watched the other things going on in the arena .... parachute jumping, that was fun to see ..... and army demostration of army shooting etc ... that was also fun to see.

Then we had some stunts from a sea fire plane, then we had a lazy few hours of walking around and amusing the kids and a few lil events in the arena ..... then it came to 5PM and the event Ryan had been looking forward to ALL day ............... THE RED ARROWS !!!!!

This display was something else .... I have never seen them do a display and it was BRILLIANT to watch !!! Ryan was very impressed by this !!!

Then at 6.30PM it was the balloon launch !!!! This was spectacular !!! There was roughly 96 balloons crammed into the arena ready for take off ..... some of them were HUGE !!!!!

We had a lil wait for the balloons to land and come back via their trailers to set up for the night glow.

This again was BRILLIANT !!! Straight away after there as a fireworks display which was very good !!!!

Chloe bless her was asleep in her pram from 8PM .... she was all cosy in her jacket and fleece blanket ... it had turned quite nippy !!!!

We got back to the car about 11ish PM and it took roughly half an hour to get ut onto clear road !!!

FINALLY got home about 1.15AM !!!! Needless to say we were all shatered !!!
