I know I'm not weaning Chloe til she is at least 6 months but I have been looking for recipe ideas .... I have found these thatI would like to try :
Butternut Squash and Pear
Ingrediants
1 Medium butternut squash
1 Ripe juicy pear
Method
Peel the butternut squash, cut in half, remove the seeds and chop into pieces. steam cook for about 12 minutes. Peel, core and chop the pear and add to steamer and continue to cook for 5 minutes or until the squash is tender. Puree in the blender and add in bout6 tablespoons of te water at the bottom of the steamer or as much as is needed to make the puree a suitable consistacy for your baby.
Root Vegetable Puree
Ingrediants
200g sweet potato, peeled and chopped
200g carrots, peeled and chopped
100g parsnips, peeled and chopped
Method
Steam the root vegetables for bout 20 minutes or until tender. Blend the vegetables to a puree adding a little of the boiled water at the bottom of the steamer until is a good consistancy for your baby.
Chicken Puree with Carrots & Apple
Ingrediants
350g carrots peeled and sliced
1 chicken breast
1 small apple, cored, peeled and chopped
1/2 tabalespoon of oil
250 ml unsalted chicken stock
1/2 small onion peeled and chopped
Method
Heat oil in a saucepan and saute the onion till softened. Add the sliced carrots, pour over the chicken stock and bring to boil. Reduce heat and then cover and cook for 10 minutes.
cut te chicken into pieces and add to the carrots together with the chopped apple and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
Puree in a blender.
Leek, Sweet Potato and Pea
Ingrediants
50g of leek, washed an sliced
400g of sweet potato, peeled and chopped
300ml of vegetable stock
50g of frozen peas
Method
Put the leek and sweet potato in a saucepan. Pour ove the vegetable stock and bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the peas and continue to coo for another 5 minutes.
Blend in blender.

Those are the ones I have found that I would like to try ... I also fancy making these ones up of my own.
Carrot and suede
Cheesy Broccoli and Cauliflower
Chicken, Green beans, rice, tomato and basil baby sauce (Annabel Karmel)
Chicken, potato, carrot and suede
Chicken, broccoli and cauliflower with baby gravy (Annabel Karmel)
Chicken and butternut squash
Mince, carrot and sweet potato
Mince, suede and tomato and basil sauce
Mince, onion, potato and baby gravy
Mince, broccoli, cauliflower and carrot
Carrot, leek and butternut squash
Peas, broccoli, , green beans and sweet potato with tomato and basil sauce
I think thats all for now and should keep her going for god knows how long ...... I don't think I will do tht all in one go although I will prob have enough to do so !!!!!!
I can't wait to get ready for her weaning ..... we have her bowls ... she has the Tommee Tippee pack of 2 bowls with one soon and lid and a pack of 8 Tommee Tippee spoons, I want to get her another pack of the bowls and maybe a pack of the little pots.

Butternut squash & pear is Kirsty's favourite - she ADORES it!!
Have you been on the annabel karmel site? (these look like her recipes so I guess you prob have been). She lists recipes by age.
